Graphic / Motion Design

During my undergraduate degree in Creative Media Technologies at Leeds Beckett University, I had the opportunity to delve deep into different creative fields.

The gallery below explores the different Graphic Design and Motion Design projects I worked on throughout my undergraduate degree at Leeds Beckett University.

'Little Kingdom' was created for a client (Leeds City Museum) where they commissioned me to design and produce a campaign to support a new concept launch. The release of this would be multi-format and require appropriate accompanying advertising materials to promote to the public. Leeds City Museum’s new exhibit will be ‘Little Kingdom’ this exhibit will cater towards children and will make learning visual and fun. The Little Kingdom expedition space will host different topics the children can learn about.

'Efflorescence' is a short animated film I created as part of my final year project at Leeds Beckett University. The poster for this film is in the gallery below. The film is about Kai, a shy and quiet boy who is the victim of bullying. It’s not until a new student arrives who has a weird trait that this bullying stops. But can Kai live with the guilt when he watches this boy get bullied. Kai must develop the courage to take a stand against the school’s bully. The name ‘Efflorescence’ comes from the stage of development of a flower. The film is called this as it will show an example of growth seen in the protagonist Kai.

'So Scared of Loving You' is a motion graphic title sequence. This title sequence tells the story of a boy that was abused in his early years which has now had an effect on his life. He meets someone who slowly breaks these barriers he has put up to prevent himself from being hurt again.

'Naked Noodle' has a range of instant noodle products in cups. They believe that good food should be easy to prepare and taste great. However, the challenge is to drive awareness for their products as no-one really knows they are there and are likely a better alternative to their competitors. The challenge for this brief was to create a market campaign based around the flavours of the noodles.
